Abu Dhabi Crown Prince praises strength, breadth of UAE-US relationship in meetings with President Obama and other senior government officials

WASHINGTON, DC (10 September 2009) - Concluding his four-day visit to Washington, DC, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, met with US President Barack Obama at the White House. The Crown Prince and President Obama discussed the wide-ranging and mutually beneficial relationship that unites the two countries, and pledged to continue the close cooperation on the security, economic, and energy fronts.
The Crown Prince was joined in the White House meeting by HH Sheikh Abdulla bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Foreign Minister, and HE Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States.
