UAE Embassy in Washington, DC Hosts Three Day Student Forum

Washington, DC (4 November 2011) – The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Washington, DC hosts a three day conference from November 24 to 26 for UAE students currently enrolled at universities in the United States.
This year’s “UAE Student Forum 2011” will provide attendees the rare opportunity to network with their fellow students, connect with officials from the UAE and meet with top rated UAE public and private companies.
The 2011 forum, “Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Leaders” is an initiative of UAE Ambassador to the United States, Yousef Al Otaiba, with the intention of providing UAE students with real world tools, information and opportunities to use in their future careers.
Several high ranking UAE officials and representatives from various United States departments and agencies will join this weekend’s events to offer their mentorship, services their respective offices can provide, discuss and answer any issues and concerns.
Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba remarking on the coordination of the forum said, "For the future of our country, we need to give our youth all the tools necessary to succeed. These are tomorrow’s leaders and it’s our responsibility to ensure these students receive guidance and opportunities to excel in their chosen fields for the good of our country and themselves” Ambassador Al Otaiba added, “I’m very impressed by the turnout of so many students and the coordination of this event. I’d like to especially thank our colleagues from the UAE who flew all the way to Washington and for providing our students with such valuable information and resources”.
The three day student forum in Washington, DC will include activities, workshops and a job fair with 20 UAE based company representatives to offer information and possible job opportunities.
