The UAE is a champion of dialogue, cooperation, stability and prosperity, and stands as a vital bridge between nations.
Guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, President of the UAE, the nation is committed to building constructive partnerships that advance mutual understanding, promote sustainable development and drive economic prosperity.
Motivated by the shared goals of international peace, stability, and development, the UAE continues to serve as a facilitator of diplomatic dialogue and actively supports global efforts to promote peace, prosperity and the well-being of communities worldwide.
The UAE’s strategic vision is centered on four interconnected priorities: reinforcing international cooperation to foster enduring peace, driving economic prosperity and resilience, championing sustainability to protect our planet and strengthening peaceful coexistence to ensure a stable and inclusive future for all.
Together, these pillars reflect the UAE’s commitment to responsible leadership, global collaboration and the pursuit of lasting progress.
As it advances its vision for a more inclusive and open Middle East, the UAE actively counters extremist ideologies, including those that fuel terrorism and conflict, and pose a threat to global security. Over several decades, the UAE has been a key partner of the US to defeat terrorist organizations – from participating in the coalitions to defeat ISIS and Al-Qaeda to blocking extremist recruiting and financing.
The UAE is a global leader in providing humanitarian assistance, alleviating suffering and protecting human dignity in times of crisis, natural disasters and conflict. Through national entities such as UAE Aid agency and Dubai Humanitarian, and in collaboration with UN agencies and international organizations, the UAE prioritizes support for those who are most vulnerable, helping to build resilience in communities across the world.
In 2024, the UAE delivered $3 billion in aid to 134 countries, providing emergency humanitarian relief alongside long-term development assistance.
Gaza
The decision by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to accept the invitation to join the Board of Peace reflects the UAE’s enduring commitment to turning diplomacy into real progress on the ground.
We believe that lasting peace requires serious leadership, coordinated international action and a clear path that delivers security, dignity and opportunity for all — especially the Palestinian people. The UAE stands ready to work closely with the United States, under the leadership of President Donald Trump, and with regional and international partners to help implement a comprehensive peace plan that supports stability and peace for Gaza and the wider region.
Since 2023, the UAE has been the leading international contributor of aid to Gaza. This includes delivering nearly 90,000 tons of supplies, establishing a field hospital and evacuating injured and sick Palestinians.
Dialogue and diplomacy are essential for regional stability, and to foster a positive trajectory for the region, including through the Abraham Accords. The UAE continues to support all international efforts aimed at achieving progress in the path toward the establishment of a viable Palestinian state alongside a secure Israel.
Iran
The UAE has consistently reaffirmed its belief that dialogue, de-escalation, adherence to international law and respect for state sovereignty constitute the most effective foundations for addressing current crises, underscoring the UAE's approach of resolving disputes through diplomatic means.
We emphasize the importance of reaching a diplomatic solution with Iran that addresses not only the risks of nuclear proliferation but also its ballistic capabilities and the support for destabilizing non-state actors in the region.
Sudan
The UAE strongly welcomes efforts by President Donald Trump and his administration to help end the conflict and address the escalating humanitarian catastrophe in Sudan.
The UAE reiterates its unwavering commitment to the Quad format, which remains a critical avenue for finding a sustainable solution to end the civil war and assist the Sudanese people in determining their future. The UAE calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities to allow humanitarian organizations to deliver assistance across the country.
The ongoing civil war creates a dangerous space for extremist and terrorist networks to regroup, recruit and finance themselves, generating spillover risks for Sudan's neighbors and the wider region. Any path forward must deny these extremist groups space, resources and legitimacy, and must be anchored in a genuine civilian-led transition, independent of either of the warring parties.
The UAE announced $500 million in additional humanitarian aid in February 2026 at a US State Department event for the Sudan Humanitarian Fund. Over the past decade, the UAE has provided more than $4.24 billion in both humanitarian and development assistance to Sudan. Since the onset of the conflict in April 2023, the UAE has become the second largest humanitarian donor to the Sudanese people after the United States, delivering food assistance, medical aid and shelter materials along with strengthened support for relief and healthcare infrastructure.
Yemen
The UAE affirms that de-escalation and constructive dialogue remain the most effective path to overcoming current challenges, contributing to lasting stability in Yemen and the region and fulfilling the aspirations of the people for security and prosperity. Since 2015, the UAE has provided more than USD 6 billion in humanitarian and development assistance to the people of Yemen, including support for essential services and critical infrastructure projects.
The UAE’s presence in Yemen was at the request of the legitimate Yemeni government and within the framework of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition. Our aims were to support the restoration of legitimacy and combat terrorism, while fully respecting the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen. In South Yemen, the UAE made significant sacrifices in confronting the terrorist Houthi militia, Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood in close coordination with local Yemeni actors, and regional and international partners. The UAE has announced the completion of the return of all UAE personnel from the Republic of Yemen.
Syria
The UAE welcomed the announcement of the formation of the new Syrian government, and affirmed its support for the Syrian people’s aspirations towards achieving stability and prosperity. The UAE has reinforced its steadfast support for the Syrian people and all efforts to promote development and stability in the country, highlighting that economic and developmental success is capable of setting Syria on the path to recovery and prosperity.
