Arabian Sites Festival
Since 2015, the UAE Embassy has proudly presented the Arabian Sights Film Festival in Washington, DC. The annual weeklong event, now approaching its 24th year, features outstanding works in contemporary Arab cinema.
The festival’s films span different genres and languages and tell stories from across the Arab World. The festival facilitates important cultural conversations for Arab and non-Arab audiences alike.
In 2018, the opening night feature film was “On Borrowed Time,” a comedy produced by Image Nation Abu Dhabi and shot entirely in the UAE.
