UAE Consul General in Los Angeles Accepted Egypt Cancer Network's Highest Humanitarian Award

Los Angeles – May 19, 2017 – Consul General Abdulla Alsaboosi accepted Egypt Cancer Network's Highest Humanitarian Award on behalf of Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba, the United Arab Emirates Ambassador to the United States for all the support of the children of Hospital 57357, also known as The Children’s Cancere Hospital Egypt. The award was presented by Dr. Hisham El Seify, Egypt Cancer Network President, Dr. Mohamed El-Erian, and Dr. Hala Sarhan during their 10th year anniversary. Also in attendance, Mahmoud Kabil, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to the Middle East and North Africa.
Hospital 57357 is a leading advocate for positive change in fighting childhood cancer through innovation and global collaboration. “The UAE has been a strong supporter of Hospital 57357 and its mission to provide free first-class treatment and care to children from all over the world,” His Excellency Abdulla Alsaboosi, Consul General of the UAE in Los Angeles said. “It’s great to hear my country is supporting Africa’s first proton therapy center in Hospital 57357 for the treatment of cancer.”
