UAE Remains Number One US Export Destination in Middle East for 11th Straight Year

The United Arab Emirates remains the United States’ number one export destination in the Middle East & North Africa region for the eleventh year in a row, according to new trade data released this month by the US Department of Commerce.
- In 2019, the US and the UAE conducted $24.4 billion in total bilateral trade, with US exports to the UAE amounting to just over $20 billion.
- This bilateral trade supports 120,000 American jobs.
- The US enjoyed a $15.7 billion trade surplus with the UAE – the United States’ third largest trade surplus globally.
