Ambassador Al Otaiba highlights positive US-UAE relations and partnerships and the annual Children's National Medical Center Childrens Ball, which provides vital support to give the best treatment possible to every child.

In a commentary, Ambassador Al Otaiba underscores the importance of increased cooperation between the UAE, US, and Gulf allies to address regional challenges. 

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and UAE Foreign Minister, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed to discuss a number of issues, including ways to improve regional security and peace, the humanitarian crisis in Syria, the recent Geneva 2 talks, and current developments in Egypt.

UAE remained the top export destination for US goods in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region for the fifth year in a row, according to new US Government statistics. US exports to the UAE increased nearly 10% in 2013 to $24.6 billion.

Secretary Kerry and HH Sheikh Abdullah meet in Abu Dhabi to reinforce their long-standing strong strategic relationship and discuss a number of issues in the region, including recent developments in Syria and positive developments in Egypt.

With the goal of showcasing the strong UAE-US bilateral relationship and exploring areas for future cooperation, diplomats from the UAE Embassy met with local government, business, and education leaders in two Florida cities.

At a press conference following the meeting, both leaders conveyed a shared commitment for stability in Egypt and throughout the region.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Secretary of State John Kerry and Congressional leaders to discuss regional matters and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the UAE and the US.

 At a ceremony alongside NJ Governor Christie, UAE Ambassador Al Otaiba announced a gift of $4.5 million that will benefit over 20,000 students across nine school districts throughout the state of New Jersey.  The gift will repair and enhance communications infrastructure in 30 schools in towns that were impacted by the storm last year.

The US Embassy in Abu Dhabi  has installed a  secure and more efficient visa system, speeding the granting visas to Emiratis  traveling to the US to an average of one week.
