WASHINGTON, DC – In celebration of Earth Day, the United Arab Emirates Ambassador to the United States and Israel’s Ambassador to the United States and the United Nations joined together to plant an olive tree and sow the seeds of closer cooperation to address the global climate challenge.
"The start of commercial operations at Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant is a significant achievement, as the UAE becomes the first country in the Middle East to operate zero carbon nuclear power.
"Welcoming joint efforts to de-escalate tensions and for renewed regional dialogue, the UAE will work closely with the Biden Administration on a comprehensive approach to Middle East peace and stability.
