UAE Embassy representatives participated in the dedication of the new Mercy Hospital — in Joplin, Missouri where the UAE gifted funds to help rebuild after a catastrophic tornado destroyed most of the city including the hospital and schools.

#PastForward, Contemporary Art from the Emirates on tour in the United States opened to the public at The Northwestern Museum of Arts and Culture in Spokane, Washington on May 16, showcasing UAE’s rich history, culture, and rapid development through the works of 25 notable Emirati artists. A public diplomacy program developed by the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC and Meridian International Center with support from the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority & Etihad Airways. #UA
