Meridian Center International and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates hosted a salon lunch discussion on culinary diplomacy. Cultural influencers and food aficionados from across D.C. came together to learn about the history of the cuisine of Abu Dhabi, which has influenced chefs, writers, educators, and diplomats throughout the region.

Race benefits breast cancer awareness, screenings and research

Washington, DC (September 8, 2018) – UAE Embassy diplomats, staff and friends today participated in the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure,” an annual race in Washington, DC that brings together thousands of runners and walkers to benefit the fight against breast cancer. 

As we celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, we honor the achievements and contributions women have made in the UAE. 

Emirati women have helped shape the UAE into one of the most forward thinking and innovative nations in the world.
